First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WSFS Financial.
Call Center Agent
They started with basic resume questions, then moved on to behavioral questions and scenarios. You'll have to walk through your resume, and if everything checks out, you'll be invited for a second interview. The first interview was on Microsoft Teams.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Credit Analyst Trainee
It was a 2 step interview process. First, an HR call that was entirely behavioral. Then, an in-person panel with 2 people which was mostly behavioral with some basic technical questions on economic events, financial statements, and ratios.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Wealth Management Intern
There are 3 interview rounds. First round is a 20-30 minute recruiter call asking basic behavioral questions like 'tell me about yourself', interest in the company, resume walkthrough, and customer service skills. You'll know immediately if you advance. Second round is a behavioral interview with the division President, covering interests in wealth management, plus standard intros about yourself, resume, interests, and background. It's pretty straightforward. I didn't make it to the third round, which would've been another behavioral interview with a high-ranking executive, despite having a good chat.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What sparked your interest in WSFS and this particular location?
- Describe a situation where you had to proceed with limited or incomplete information.
IT Operations & Production Support Engineer
I introduced myself. The hiring manager interrupted me a lot during the conversation to speed things up. I felt like he was undermining my skills and experience, saying I need certificates. I have 25 years of experience without certs and I'm still successful. I wouldn't work for him even if I got the job, I'm from a global IT group supporting 2K employees at WSFS. I don't need to fix anything.
- Can you describe a situation where an issue arose, how you engaged the appropriate teams for resolution, and whether those teams exhibited specific temperaments?
