First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at wrrk.
Customer Service Representative
I had an interview over Zoom, then I had to do some mock customer service tickets on a platform. After that, I joined a Slack channel with some employees, but it was later deactivated without any explanation. They said I'd hear back about scheduling and hours by November 11. I didn't hear anything, so I found a job elsewhere with professional and not rude people. This company emailed me four months later in January saying I was rejected after all that. It was super rude and unprofessional, and they don't care about feedback since this has happened to others too. Save yourself the trouble and avoid them; they're rude, sketchy, and pay very little, so you're better off anywhere else.
- What makes you want to work for this company?
Customer Service Representative
The process started with an application asking general questions like why I wanted to work there. Then there were some assessments, including a WPM test and reading comprehension. After that, I had a Zoom interview with a hiring consultant who asked about my experience. Then came a few more assessments to test my equipment. Next, I met with a team member who explained their work and how they keep everyone engaged. Finally, I received an offer. It was quite extensive, but if the job is right for you, it's not difficult. I get why they do it; they need to trust you know what you're doing since they won't be reviewing everything you do before you send it.
- What are your career goals for the next 3-5 years?
Customer Service Representative
First, you have to complete some skills tests before talking to a recruiter. I passed those, including a typing test (over 50 WPM with 100% accuracy). After the initial tests, I got an email for a video interview with a recruiter to go over job details and get to know me better. Then, the recruiter sent me about 5-6 more questions via email that I had to answer, focusing on how complete and thoughtful my answers were, and grammar. Next, there was another skills test, a helpdesk simulation where I had to follow instructions and was scored on navigating the system. Unfortunately, that's where my process ended with wrrk. I did well on all the tests, but apparently, my responses to the simulation emails weren't up to "wrrk's standards," even though the instructions were a bit vague about how to respond. I thought I did my best with the limited info. The recruiter then emailed to say my process was over due to not meeting the standards for the helpdesk simulation email portion.
