question came up during a design discussion for a new project. There were two different points of view: We should just forget about the event after publishing it to the broker. We should make sure to get a confirmation that the broker received the event. The problem, of course, is a game of trade-offs. We were using Kafka for that project. And it turned out there were 3 options we could choose from: Fire and Forget Synchronous Send Asynchronous Send How Does the Kafka Producer Work? Before we look at each option, let’s first understand how the Kafka Producer works. In the first step, we create a ProducerRecord

The interview process was really long and thorough. The recruiters I talked to were nice and professional. First, I sent in an online application and did some basic skill tests like typing speed and reading comprehension. Then, a recruiter called me for a video interview. After that, I had to do a few more skill assessments before a final video interview. Even though it was a lot, I liked the process because it showed they're serious about hiring great people for this job!

I filled out an application and then completed a couple of assessments that were a bit challenging. After passing everything, I was told I'd get an email soon. The company contacted my references very quickly, but I haven't heard back since. I sent a follow-up email, and it's been a couple of weeks with no reply. When I checked my application status online, they gave a fake email address for questions. My emails bounced back twice! I also messaged them on Facebook. They clearly read it but didn't respond. I'm not sure if this company is legitimate, but they're definitely unprofessional. At least respond to follow-up emails, even if the job has been filled! Based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue where they ignore follow-ups.

I had an interview over Zoom, then I had to do some mock customer service tickets on a platform. After that, I joined a Slack channel with some employees, but it was later deactivated without any explanation. They said I'd hear back about scheduling and hours by November 11. I didn't hear anything, so I found a job elsewhere with professional and not rude people. This company emailed me four months later in January saying I was rejected after all that. It was super rude and unprofessional, and they don't care about feedback since this has happened to others too. Save yourself the trouble and avoid them; they're rude, sketchy, and pay very little, so you're better off anywhere else.
