Customer Experience Officer
We had a video interview where I was asked five questions about communication, leadership, adaptability, and motivation. Then, there was a numerical reasoning test to check math skills and how well I could interpret data, including things like percentage calculations and profit analysis. Finally, a logical reasoning test with pattern recognition, sequence completion, and odd-one-out questions to see my analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Can you share an accomplishment you're particularly proud of?
Copywriter
After submitting my application online, I got an email asking about my availability for a phone call. We set up a time for the phone interview, and they also sent me a copy test to complete within a few days. Once I finished that, we had the phone interview where they asked some basic questions like introducing myself and confirming my work eligibility. Following that, they scheduled me for a one-on-one interview at their office.
- Could you tell me a little about yourself?
- Do you have the legal right to work here?
Artist
I applied and was given a really long exercise that felt excessive, but I did it anyway. It seemed to be weighted more heavily than my actual skills. After completing it, I was invited to interview. I spoke with one of the co-founders who seemed uninterested and distracted, asking questions but not really paying attention. It also seems like he micromanages. The recruiter tried to sell the company and answered my questions, confirming the mandatory 8-6 hours mentioned in other reviews. Despite her attempts to frame it positively, the office environment felt depressing, shabby, and dirty, with a nice view being the only positive. The benefits and perks also felt cheap, especially compared to other companies, with no coffee maker available.
- I asked a lot of questions myself, as they didn't seem very interested in anything they asked me.
Server Engineer
Standard interview process. Spoke with HR who then invited me for an onsite interview during the same call. Once I got there, I was asked several behavior questions, like 'Why do you want to work here?' and 'Describe your weaknesses and strengths.' After that, I tackled a few brain teasers, which weren't too difficult. Then, I was asked to code a tic-tac-toe game. I successfully passed the onsite and was subsequently given a take-home project using Ruby on Rails. I noticed the office space is a bit small and everyone seems quite friendly.
- With 9 identical bricks and a scale, where one brick has a different weight, what's the least number of weighings needed to identify the odd brick?
- Can you program a tic-tac-toe game against an AI within a two-hour timeframe?
