So they first give a quick training on content writing formats, what to do and not to do. Then you take an MCQ test with three or four sections, each lasting 15 minutes. After that, you have to write a short piece on their website within 15 minutes based on a given topic. Then you submit your sample essay, CV, and certificates in their format. They'll review it in about 2 weeks. I'm currently waiting for their review.

Everything was online. I did a plagiarism test with 5 questions, but one didn't have a correct option. Then a grammar test, and an essay on a given topic which was confusing. They wanted proof of my bachelor's degree and a photo ID. I sent my transcript instead of my degree, and they said it was fine, then asked for the actual degree. I offered other documents or to order the degree, and they said the other docs would work. Then they insisted on the degree again. I pointed out the contradiction, and they agreed the other docs were fine and I didn't need the degree certificate. It was weird. They finally said my essay was the reason I was rejected. I think it was because I pointed out the flaws in their essay topic because it was grammatically perfect. The person I was talking to had bad writing skills, full of errors. After they said the decision was final, I let them know.

The interview process was okay. I did well on the tests for Grammar, APA, MLA, and Chicago styles, getting scores of 14, 5, 4, and 5 respectively. I also wrote the sample essay well and on time. It's unclear why my application was marked as 'Failed' since I have a lot of experience in academia. I'm not sure what they look for in a 'mature application' or what areas they focus on. Right now, I'm not working for a specific site, but my main work involves sourcing assignments from students in various fields like business plans, case studies, research proposals, dissertations, and reports. I would have liked to get a steady stream of projects from Writerbay, and any help would be great.
