Account Executive
This was awful, I'd avoid it. It's been like a month since I interviewed with Writer and still no feedback or even a rejection. I spent over 3 days getting ready for their final assessment and then they just ghosted me. It's the absolute worst interview process ever, I'd never apply here again.
- What are Writer's unique selling propositions, and why are you interested in joining the company?
- Can you describe your current approach to managing sales deals?
- How do you handle deal management in your current role?
Account Executive
The interview process spanned 7 weeks, with about a week between each step. The questions were typical for them, focusing on theoretical concepts or sales process. It felt less like a genuine conversation and more like an evaluation, with limited opportunity to ask my own questions. The demo prompt, intended for 30 minutes, felt too short given the judging criteria, though it seemed the interviewers were more interested in how a standard sales meeting would be conducted.
- Hypothetically, if you were leading any company as CEO, what would be your three main priorities and your reasoning?
- In your view, is sales primarily an art form or a science, and can you explain your perspective?
Strategic Account Executive
Got contacted by the recruiter first. Then had a bunch of chats with people all over the company, which included a panel demo/presentation. They were super accommodating with any questions I had, and everyone I spoke with was great. I even set up extra chats with some of them because I wanted to know more. Overall, it was a really good experience, and my recruiter was awesome at keeping me in the loop.
- Can you describe the type of deals you've handled in terms of size, scope, and impact?
- Could you walk me through a deal you successfully won and one that you lost?
