It was a 2 part interview, and they were extremely well organised and the people were genuinely nice. The whole company seems really good with a high tech way of working and everyone is very friendly. The company is going places and you can see why when you visit head office.

Was a good initial chat with the recruiter, really friendly. Then a telephone interview, which was pretty chill, went through my CV, sales background, and why I'm interested in Wren. They gave a really good vibe about the company. The next interview was with the showroom manager, and it was basically the same questions as the phone interview. Started to get the feeling there's no real work-life balance there, like working weekends constantly and it's super target-focused with not much chance to move up. Didn't get past that stage, and when I asked for feedback, they just ignored me. So the initial good feeling about the company went out the window at the end.

The Hiring Manager was late for my interview. I had trouble getting checked in because HR forgot to add me to the list. The interview itself was very basic. They asked what I knew about Wren's history. After I answered, the Hiring Manager talked about other Wren sites, even ones I hadn't mentioned, and said there were more. There was no follow-up after the interview, even though I sent a thank you email. I followed up again but got no response. Eventually, I got an automated email saying I wasn't selected. When I asked for feedback, they hinted that I was too expensive. I suspect the Hiring Manager felt threatened and prefers to have people he sees as less capable on his team, especially given how he spoke about them. He was also a bit unprofessional when discussing women. Based on what I've learned about Wren and others' experiences, the company isn't well-managed and doesn't attract top talent. I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you have the option!
