Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wren Kitchens.
Surveyor
First, there was a phone screen that felt like talking to an AI, the person on the other end sounded like they didn't want to be there. Then, a Microsoft Teams interview with a nice supervisor went well, and I got an offer for a final interview. The final interview was disorganized; the interviewer didn't turn on their camera, and it felt like they were trying to discourage me, possibly because I have a degree in surveying and they thought I was overqualified. I didn't get an offer, which I see as a good thing given the company's poor reviews about staff treatment. I probably would have declined anyway.
- Why do you want to work for wren?
Surveyor
First there was a phone call, then I went to the branch for a second interview. They asked me more questions about myself and the job. They talked about the career path and what opportunities there are. I also got a tour of the branch to see how customers interact with the service.
- Could you discuss your relevant experience?
- Can you review your resume and past career?
- Please provide your updated information.

I had my phone interview and it was okay. Now I have an in-store interview. They asked a few questions about what I know about wren and why I want to work there. I will update more after I have had the in-store interview.
