The interview process felt too intense for this entry-level role. It started well with an email the day after applying, followed by a phone call, and a first writing assessment. I was then scheduled for an interview fairly quickly. However, I ended up speaking with six people, which was more than I've experienced for junior positions. I tried to stay composed and answer positively, even when one interviewer was quite blunt. After meeting everyone, I had to complete a second, 30-minute writing assessment that felt like a final exam. I was told not to worry by the director after submitting it and even got an office tour, which gave me high hopes. Unfortunately, I never heard back and had to follow up multiple times over two weeks, which was frustrating as I felt misled and embarrassed after working hard to prepare. I wish they had just communicated the rejection instead of leaving me waiting and unsure of the reasons.

It started with an initial phone screening with HR, then I met with two people from the SEO department for an in person interview, followed by a final phone screening with a senior manager. They were overall very welcoming and nice. They did a good job of explaining the structure of the company.

It took about a week and a half to get through the three rounds of interviews. I think applying through an internal reference helped speed things up. The interviews were thorough and pleasant, and it felt like we both got a good sense of each other.
