I started with an HR screening, but the person seemed really checked out and didn't know anything about the role. I explained my experience, but she asked me things I'd already covered. She wasn't listening. I then got to the first interview where I felt I answered everything thoroughly. Things seemed to be going well, and HR even followed up twice about next steps. Then, out of nowhere, I got a generic rejection email. She asked me to add her on LinkedIn for future roles, but she never accepted. I asked for feedback and never got any. It was pretty weird. I guess I dodged a bullet.

It started off fine, a recruiter reached out and we set up an interview. But the interview itself was rough. Apparently, there was a scheduling conflict, and the interviewer could only give me 30 minutes because they had a super important quarterly meeting right after. Instead of rescheduling for a time when they could focus, they went ahead with what felt like a one-sided interrogation. They showed zero emotion to anything I said. By the 28-minute mark, I figured I hadn't said what they wanted, and that's okay. It's an interview, they don't have to pick me. They mentioned someone would follow up the next week, so I expected the usual 'we went with someone else' email, right? Wrong. It took them over 30 DAYS to send that 'after careful consideration' email. So unprofessional and a waste of my time. I emailed them back to tell them this and that they need to do better with future candidates.

I spoke with a recruiter initially. Then I had another call with a director and an associate director. I was supposed to have a final interview with a senior director, but I had to cancel since I accepted another offer.
