The job interview process was pretty standard, like typical 'what is your greatest achievement/what is your greatest weakness' stuff. But don't think that just because the interview lasts a long time that you will get the job! My interview lasted over an hour without even a call back.

The interview uses the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Results) because past behavior is seen as a predictor of future actions. You'll be asked about specific times you encountered certain situations. A common mistake is not giving enough detail about the steps you took to resolve the issue, which shows your thinking process.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you recall a time you failed to meet a deadline? Explain your response and the outcome.
  • Share an instance of a missed deadline, detailing your actions and the subsequent results.

It started with a phone screen. Then I got an email asking me to review specs for 2 products. The interview itself involved a role-play where I had to sell those products to the interviewer. After that, there was an in-person interview with the general and assistant manager of the store. Right after I left, HR called to see if I could take a drug test within 24 hours. (This was in 2016, and I don't think they do drug tests anymore).

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you tell me about the apps you use frequently?
