Applied through a headhunter. Had to sign an NDA first. Then completed an OA on Hackerank with medium problems. After that, there was an online round where I had to solve a medium Leetcode problem. Finally, I had an online interview with the team lead where I was asked to design a feature and discuss some specific C++ topics.

I was contacted via LinkedIn by a recruiter. After a call and an in-person meeting, they decided to proceed with my application. The initial round involved a Hackerrank coding challenge. The interviewer was a senior engineer, experienced and helpful rather than critical. While I did solve the problem, upon reflection, my approach was quite clumsy. Unfortunately, I was rejected after this round.

Applied for a remote software position via a recruitment agency. The first interview was with an Engineer, who asked two technical questions: one focused on systems and the other was a direct C++ question. Next, I spoke with a Managing Director about my CV. The third interview was with another Managing Director. They started with an easy HackerRank problem, then asked the same C++ question from the first interview. The interviewer seemed caught off guard when I pointed this out and then just made small talk for the remainder of the scheduled time as they had no further questions. WorldQuant did not proceed with my application after this. The whole process took about 50 days and felt very unorganized.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • An easy HackerRank problem was asked.
