The online application took about 10-20 minutes, and I had to manually re-enter all my resume details because their system couldn't map them. The very next day, I got an email saying they're no longer accepting applicants because they have enough or are close to filling the position. It makes you question their organization or technology. They're fine with wasting applicants' time and effort, and probably treat their employees the same way. If that's not true, their recruiting team is doing a terrible job.

Technical Case

The interview process involved an initial phone screening with a recruiter. Following that, I had a problem-solving interview with a senior consultant. They appeared disengaged and unenthusiastic during the interview. When I attempted to ask clarifying questions, which is standard for this type of interview, their response was consistently "well, that depends…" and they offered no real clarification, making it difficult to understand the scope of the interview questions. It was a poor experience.

Behavioral

Got a super quick reply from a senior recruiter within 24 hours of applying. Had my first chat with them over the phone just 3 days later. It was a good talk, but I found out that the actual job duties were quite different from what was advertised. I also learned there was a specific priority for certain types of experience that wasn't mentioned in the job post but is crucial for getting selected. Despite this, the recruiter from WWT was really upfront and honest, admitting the job ad didn't perfectly match the real needs and that the company's direction in this area is still developing. Their openness with my questions meant we both saved time by not continuing with this role since my background fit the written ad but not the unstated actual requirements.
