First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at World Vision International.
Project Manager
It was a three-stage interview process. First, the recruitment interview, which included basic HR questions and then technical questions related to the role. Next was the hiring manager interview, which was technical to the role. Finally, the senior management interview focused on questions about relating with management and other team members.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult stakeholder.
- What projects have you handled in the digital space, including the challenges and how you overcame them?
Marketing Project Manager
I applied online and a couple of weeks later, I got a call for an interview. The recruiter was really nice. I went to the Federal Way headquarters and got to see the visitor center before my interview, which gave me a better sense of the company. I'd suggest that to anyone considering working there. I spoke with both a recruiter and the department lead. Overall, the interview was quite straightforward.
- They expected me to be asked about my faith in Jesus, which would have caught me off guard at first, but I was ready for it.
Project Manager
There were two interviews, one with HR and then another one with the Operations Manager and the same HR person. The whole thing took about 40 minutes. The interviewers were super nice and smiling. They asked professional questions about my past work experience, my knowledge of NGOs, and my passion for the role.
- Tell me why you want to work here.
- What do you know about NGO work?
- What drives your passion for this opportunity?
