Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at World Vision International.
Intern
It was a 3 part interview process with a written test based on your area of expertise, group interview where you are rated based on your interactions with other members of the group and one on one interviews with a panel.
- Do you know what safeguarding is?
Intern
It was a short, in-person interview after I applied online. They mostly asked about my resume and my classes. They also asked about my French language skills since I mentioned it on my resume, but they didn't actually have me speak French. Since it's a religious organization, they asked about my faith and my ability to work in a diverse workplace.
- Can you tell us about your past experience?
Intern
I submitted an online application and after a few weeks, they emailed me back. The interview process involved two rounds, both conducted over the phone because I don't live near the company's location. The first interview was with a recruiter, focusing mainly on questions about my resume. After this, the recruiter mentioned she'd follow up in a couple of weeks if a suitable position was available. The second interview was with my potential manager, and it primarily covered my working style along with a few questions about my resume experiences.
