Customer Service Representative
The interview process was really relaxed and I enjoyed it. My interviewer made it fun! She was also very thorough. It was a video call with the hiring manager. She discussed all the pay, benefits, and the details of the industry. I was even offered the job during the interview. Getting hired was very simple.
- Can you tell me about a time you faced a challenging customer interaction and how you managed it?
Customer Service Representative
I applied online and then had to do an assessment. After that, I got an email to set up an interview and also do a speed test. The first interview was with HR, and they asked me sales-related questions. I was invited back for a second interview the same day. The questions were similar, and I was told I'd hear back within 2 business days. I got a call and was hired. There weren't any negotiations about the pay, which was $8/hour for the first 4 weeks, then $11/hour for up to 6 months, with a possibility of a 50-cent raise.
- Tell me about your most memorable objection.
- Sell me on a vacation package of your choice.
Customer Care Representative
I sent in my application online and right away got an email telling me to do a speed test and a long online assessment. It had a lot of personality questions, then reading comp/vocab, math, and a tricky timed section where you have to match rotated objects. The interviews were simpler. I got an email the same day I finished the assessment to book a phone interview for the next week. It was an hour, and the interviewer was super nice. They asked basic questions like 'why do you want to work here?'. At the end of that one, they scheduled the second interview for the next day. The second interview was also an hour. They really stressed that the job involves both sales and service calls, that the schedule is rigid and might be tough, and that some customers are really difficult. They talked more than they asked, but I did have to sell them a cruise and answer some 'tell me about a time' questions. The next day, I got an email saying I passed everything and to expect radio silence while they 'gather information,' which they said is a good sign. I'm guessing they're doing a background check. That was yesterday, so I'm waiting to hear back.
- Tell me about the best manager you ever had and explain your choice.
- Describe a situation where you had to convey complex information to a customer briefly.
- Imagine you need to sell me a trip; where in the world would you recommend and why?
