The interview process was pretty standard. It took a little while to get a call back from the manager to set up the actual interview, but after that, things moved quickly. Everyone hired goes through a two-week "beer school" at the International location.

You start by walking in to fill out an application. Filling out the application in person is the way to go, the online app probably won't get you hired. I filled out the application and waited for a manager to be available, then I was interviewed right away. The interview covers basic get-to-know-you questions about my personal life, hobbies, and school. Then, they ask about my availability and how much I want to work. The interview isn't the hard part though. All employees must go through a tough 2-week "Beer School" where they learn about and taste over 540 beers, plus basic menu and bar info. This is how they filter out candidates.

After submitting a regular application, I went for an interview with the store manager. It was a pretty chill interview, and if I got the job, I'd go on to training. The training included 'beer and cooler school' for about a week and had two tests.
