Behavioral Other

It took about 6 weeks from applying to get an interview call. The first interview was with HR. It was fast and formal with rapid-fire questions. The rep was clear and told me about the firm's studio structure. I learned the job was mostly hospitality-focused with some residential projects, not just residential as the JD stated. They asked about pay expectations, so be ready and don't ask for more than listed.

Behavioral

The interview was pretty straightforward. The first round was with HR, asking standard HR questions like 'what have you done?' and 'tell me about you.' What was surprising is that they mentioned three more interview rounds would follow, and they wanted me to come to NY to meet in person. Then they just messaged saying I didn't get the position. Even after emailing the HR, they didn't give any specific reason why I didn't get it.

Behavioral Presentation

So there were 2 rounds in the interview process. The first one was a quick 30-minute chat with the senior management, where they asked about my design portfolio and overall experience. The second round was with a founding partner, and it was a longer, more formal meeting.
