First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WorkRamp.
Customer Support Representative
I had a phone screen that went well, the interviewer was nice. After that, I got a writing assignment, and then I had another interview with someone more senior. This second interview felt like they weren't interested from the start. The interviewer kept looking away and fidgeting, like they were bored. They even took a personal call during our chat! I still answered their questions and asked some myself, but even when I asked if I had questions, it felt like an afterthought. It seemed like they had already decided not to hire me before we even started, and their behavior was really unprofessional and disrespectful.
- Can you share an instance where your manager criticized your work and describe how you responded to that feedback?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process included a screener, an interview with the manager, and a writing assessment. There were some initial issues with scheduling. The company seems like a great place to work, and I would consider applying again. After completing the writing assignment, I had to follow up to find out I didn't get the job, which suggests there might be some communication problems.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment at WorkRamp?
Customer Support Representative
I had a chat with a recruiter first, then I got an assignment. After that, I spoke with the Customer Support Manager. Then, in a 1.5 hour block, I had 3 separate 30-minute interviews. These were with the VP of CS, a potential teammate, and then the CSM again. Everyone was really nice and it was fun getting to know them! The recruiter also did a great job keeping me updated.
- What makes you want to find a new role?
- Can you share an example of something you had to learn from the beginning and describe your learning process?
