First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Workhuman.
E-commerce Coordinator
Had three rounds of interviews. The first round was competency-based, the second focused on intrinsic motivators, and the third was a data analytics assessment. They really dove deep to understand my motivations for the job and to assess my data analytics skills.

Product Manager
The interview process seemed a bit disorganized with interview rescheduling. The hiring manager was nice, but they seem to be looking for a unicorn, interviewing many candidates over several rounds, yet the job keeps getting reposted. My experience was a perfect fit for the role and my resume had FAANG-level experience, but I didn't get far in the process, which is very odd.
- Can you describe your approach to building roadmaps?
Customer Service Executive
The interview was great overall, and everyone was very friendly. It lasted about 3 hours in person. The first round was with the Team Leader and a Senior team member. The second round involved the Senior and the General Manager of the Customer Service Team. There were two other people observing, but I only really talked to the Senior and GM. The third round was dynamic. It was a bit intimidating with four people there, haha.
- In a situation where you must choose between safeguarding the client and protecting the company, which would you opt for?
- Given a choice between client advocacy and company protection, what would be your decision?
- When faced with a dilemma between prioritizing the client or the company, what would your choice be?
Manager
The interview process spanned several weeks, involving numerous individuals, which is typical for modern companies. A notable aspect was meeting the hiring manager early on, but not again for the subsequent six weeks leading up to the final round. While the reasons for this are unclear, it was an unusual experience. A former colleague suggested the hiring manager might have been excluded due to potential conflicts with the broader marketing team, who may have preferred a candidate aligned with their own views over the HM's. Despite this, the interactions with the hiring manager and other interviewees were positive. Ultimately, the outcome was not favorable, but the process itself was well-managed, offering consistent clarity, communication, and updates, preventing any prolonged periods of uncertainty. A minor drawback was the lack of specific feedback or explanation for the final decision after reaching the final round and undergoing a lengthy process of 6-7 weeks.
