It was a pretty standard process. I first talked to the hiring manager, then a director, and finally a panel interview which included members from product and engineering. Everyone was really welcoming and upfront about what they were looking for in a new product launch. The panel was definitely the most challenging part, involving presenting through the product launch phases and demonstrating my product sense.

So the interview process started with a recruiter screen which was 30 minutes. Then I had a 30-minute call with the hiring manager. After that, I met with three different people – a PM, an Engineer, and a Manager – for 30 minutes each. The final step was a 1-hour case study presentation. The whole thing took over a month.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a pretty straightforward interview process. There were 4 rounds total. The first round was a one-on-one competency-based interview with the hiring manager. Then there were two more competency-based interviews with team members. After that, we had a design session with everyone who interviewed me previously. Finally, there was a vibe check with a senior director. Everyone I met was really friendly, and the interviews didn't feel stressful at all. They really encouraged me to think through my answers.
