Had a first intro call and shortlisting with the Talent Acquisition team over Teams, it was about 30 mins. They mentioned that if I did well, I'd get a test to do over the weekend. But then I didn't hear anything back. The person interviewing me was nice and kept it relaxed, though the process could be better.

Technical Other

It starts with a recruiter call to go over experience and the company. Then, there's a timed assessment that's a deciding factor for the company fit. It has personality, pattern matching, and math sections, with only one minute per question. I couldn't finish most of it due to the time limit and timer pressure. This assessment is the sole reason given for not moving forward. It seems exclusive and raises questions about accessibility and DEI. Also, the remote work policy isn't accurate; they now require 3 days in office.

Other Technical

The interview process was really disappointing. First, I had to do a one-way video interview. Then, there was a 45-minute online aptitude assessment. The test was totally unpredictable, but I did my best. Right after, I got a standard rejection saying I didn't meet the minimum threshold for the assessments. It's frustrating because I never got to talk to a real person on the phone. Also, the hiring guide said they hire the 'whole person' and not just focus on background. It's weird to say that and then reject someone based only on a test score. It didn't feel inclusive or fair, and it ignored my work experience. It felt like a waste of time.
