Customer Support Specialist
I had a recruiter call, then I took an assessment. After that, I met with the hiring manager, director, and COO. The recruiter was in Athens and it was for an East Coast position, so all the times they sent were in local Greece time. I never got any indication that I wasn't personable or qualified. I waited past the time I was told I'd hear back, which was 3 weeks after my final interview. I got a generic rejection with a slightly different position title. They seem disorganized but have enough candidates to be picky.
- What makes our company stand out against the competition?
Customer Support Specialist
I was pre-selected for the initial stage of interview with their HR via Google Meet. The first scheduled interview did not happen, just because the interviewer's video camera wasn't working. I don't think I need to see visually who I am speaking to. 2nd scheduled interview went on and it was mostly about the overview of the company as well as the role. I was informed of the cognitive assessment which kind of turned me off. But I had no choice and went through the tests. 4 sections and each had a very short time limit. To date, I just find the assessments irrelevant. Zero relevance to the role. I aced the assessment, fortunately, and was scheduled for the next interview with two senior employees. During the interview, only one spoke more than the other. The 2nd interviewer in the call was simply smiling, nodding, and continuously answered "I don't have anything to say, no questions from me" when being asked multiple time by the 1st interviewer if the 2nd interviewer had any questions to add on. A casual interview, but questions were mostly repeated. They were just paraphrasing. There was supposed to be a final interview with a higher senior management but I was not selected. Frankly, the assessment should have been scrapped. You guys are missing the human interaction in the early stages of interview. You guys are supposed to be a role model of a service provider of HR to all other HR but your interview process is just no different from the others.
- What steps do you take when interacting with difficult customers?
Customer Support Specialist
I applied online and got a questionnaire the next day. Then, three weeks later, I got invited for an interview. This interview had a numerical, language/logical assessment, and a 30-min 1-1 talk. The day after, I had a second interview with the operations and customer support manager. It was about 2 hours long with really thorough questions about my background and CV. The atmosphere was friendly. I got feedback a week later, but no offer.
- Could you give us an overview of your resume?
- Can you detail how you performed your duties in your past position?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle a difficult customer.
