Started with a recruiter screen, then a hiring manager screen, followed by interviews with peers and/or leadership. It's the standard process, but watch out for interviewers who can be patronizing and disrespectful. The culture feels stuck in the early 2000s, not innovative at all.

It was pretty simple, the project lead asked me a few questions. It wasn't too difficult or strenuous. It was straightforward and right to the point. I liked how direct it was, asking if I could do the job and what my best skills were.

I applied online and got a call back for a phone interview within a week. It was a pretty relaxed and natural conversation, though we did go over the usual interview questions. The recruiter was nice, gave me good info about the job, and was upfront about salary and benefits right away, which was great. I think this company would be a cool place to work. If the recruiter is a good sign of the company culture, I'd recommend it. They seem like a forward-thinking company. The only drawbacks are that the 401k takes 3 years to kick in and, like others have mentioned, the pay is a bit on the low side.

I got an email for a phone interview. It went well and the interviewer said he would recommend to the managers that I move forward. He said I would hear back by Friday, Monday at the latest either way. (Interview was on a Wednesday). I heard nothing back. The following Wednesday I reached out asking for an update and to reiterate my interest and nothing. Very disappointing professionally. At this point I have written off ever being interested working here. If I wasn’t a candidate to move forward, that’s fine, but have the professionalism to let candidates know if you promise that in the beginning. I think sometimes companies think they hold all the power but companies need to impress candidates as well.
