Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill.
Server
It was a simple interview process, pretty standard. They asked some basic stuff about my past employment, why I decided to move on from previous roles, and what I'm hoping to find in a new position. The managers were really relaxed and it wasn't too intense.
- Could you share details about your previous work experience?
Server
Needed 3 interviews for a server role, which was a bit redundant. The first interview was with two managers, the second with one, and the third with the general manager.
- Can you tell me about yourself and why you're interested in Woodranch?
- Tell me about your last job
Server
Walked in to drop off my resume and had two on-the-spot interviews. They had me come back the next day to interview with the GM and I got hired right after. The interviews were about my restaurant experience and some serving questions, like how I'd serve guests at their 'premium casual' place.
- What is it you like about being a server?
- What do you enjoy about serving?
