First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WONGDOODY.
Designer
It was a really great experience with the team! There were 2 interview rounds. The first round was with the Design Lead and a Senior Designer. The second round was with the Design Lead and a Senior UI Designer. We talked about my CV, work history, portfolio, and my design approach. We reviewed the case study, discussed challenges and how I arrived at the solutions and the final designs.

Designer
I went through the interview process for a designer role and was eventually given an offer, with all the hiring paperwork sent over. After I had a few questions before signing, I didn't get a response for 3 days. When I followed up with the recruiter, he informed me that they were no longer moving forward with my candidacy. I tried to reach out to the recruiter and the two people I interviewed with to understand why, but I never heard back. They were upfront about me being able to reach out if I found another role, but then ghosted my emails when I was looking for an update. The lack of communication felt really unprofessional, especially after sending me so much paperwork only to revoke the offer. It was a disappointing experience.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
Experience Designer
The interview process was smooth. After being shortlisted, I received an assignment, and the interview was the very next day. I had to present my assignment and also discuss one personal project.
- Could you critique your assignment?
- Can you walk me through your personal project?
