Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wolverine Worldwide.
Sales Associate
The interview included standard questions about my past jobs, what I was responsible for, my reasons for wanting to join Merrell, and my availability. They also talked about what Merrell expects, the goals for the role, and the responsibilities involved.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- What were your main duties and responsibilities in prior jobs?
- What motivates your interest in working for Merrell?
Sales Associate
I had a phone interview first, followed by two in-person meetings with management and HR. It felt pretty informal and relaxed. The in-person part was laid back and conversational. After meeting with management, I was introduced to managers in different departments.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What about your weaknesses?
Sales Associate
It was a pretty chill process. They asked me about my past work history and some straightforward questions. I got to start working on my first day, which happened to be Black Friday, so it was pretty crazy, but the other employees made me feel welcome. I had a good time working there.
- What makes you a good fit for a sales role?
