First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WNS.
Operations Associate
I can't recall the exact sequence, but the interview was conducted online. Initially, they reached out to see if I was interested in the role, likely having found my resume somewhere. I confirmed my interest. The interview didn't involve any difficult questions; most were focused on my personality. They also assessed my language skills by having me speak with a native speaker during the call. It was a fun and engaging experience.
- Tell me about your 5-year plan.
- Can you confirm your proficiency in the specified language?
Operations Associate
Got a call from HR on Aug 31, saying an interview with a technical person was scheduled for three days later. Didn't get the call. After 15 days, another disrupted call. Waited 9 months for a call; the HR person resigned, and a new one took over without informing me. Saw a walk-in for this post on XYZ site, went to WNS, but it was fake news. Was told the job was on hold and they'd inform me when it opened. After a year, got a call for a telephonic interview, which I cleared. Then, a face-to-face interview was scheduled. The interviewer had only 3 years of experience, same as me. Cleared the first round, which was technical. The second interviewer was rude, unprofessional, and had no relevant experience, trying to demoralize me. HR was good, but I suspect they had a reference and hired them, doing the interview as a formality. I answered all questions and had relevant experience. They rejected me, saying it was just a formality. Learned later the job went to a Facebook friend of theirs. WNS has a ridiculous system.
