Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WNS.
Finance Analyst
Applied for a research analyst role in the M&A department. The first round is a basic aptitude test covering math and English. Next, there's a case study. It's challenging but all the info needed is provided, so don't give up. If you pass this, you'll have a Technical and HR round. The technical interview focuses on basic M&A concepts and lasts about 20-25 minutes. The HR round is about your past work experience. This company is really not great, especially if you have a master's degree. It's basically just low-level data entry with no respect for candidates. The HR management is rude and arrogant, acting like they own the place. However, the process manager was professional and knowledgeable. Seriously, if you have an MBA in Finance or any higher education, stay away. You might lose your temper. Also, expect to wait around for at least 10 hours. Good luck.

I walked in as a candidate at WNS global services and created my profile on their tablets. Following that, I completed an aptitude test and a psychometric test. Next, I had a technical round with the team leader, and the final round was with HR. The whole process took about 4 hours.
- Could you explain portfolio management?
- Can you define P/E Ratio?
- What do you know about ETFs?
Financial Analyst
There were 3-4 rounds which included an aptitude test, a round with the manager/TL, and an HR round. It started with a typical HR round, then an aptitude test that needed to be finished in about 45 minutes. After that, there was a round with the manager and team lead, and another round with a different manager who had a finance background.

- Can you explain financial statements?
- What do you know about mergers and acquisitions?
