Program Analyst
It's a 3 round process, and it went very smoothly and cooperatively. Most of the questions were technical and behavioral. The last round was a managerial round with the Manager and the client. You need to pass these rounds to get an offer from the organization.
- Tell me about your previous work experience, shift wise, and some behavioral questions.
Program Analyst
You start by submitting your application online with your resume and cover letter. Then, HR or recruiters screen applications to find candidates that fit the basic requirements. If you make the cut, they'll reach out via email or phone, maybe for a quick call to see if you're still interested and available. The first interview is usually with a recruiter or HR person, over the phone, video, or in-person, checking your background and if you're a good fit overall. Depending on the job, you might have to do some tests or assignments to check your skills, like coding challenges or case studies. Then, you'll likely have interviews with team members or hiring managers, where they'll ask about your past experiences and how you deal with things, probably using the STAR method. Sometimes, you might face a group of interviewers all at once, especially for bigger roles or jobs needing teamwork. For some positions, particularly management ones, you could be sent to an assessment center with a bunch of activities and group stuff to see your skills in action. The last interviews are usually with top execs or decision-makers, which is often the final step before they offer you the job.
- Can you give me some details about yourself, your hobbies, and basic skills?
- What about this job and our company caught your eye?
- What do you consider your strong points and areas for improvement?
