Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WNS.
Accountant
The interview process was really good and detailed, with relevant questions and nice people. Overall, a wonderful experience. The HR team was also great, providing good feedback and timely updates. They explained the job description with all the right details. Definitely recommend going for it.

Accounts Payable
I went to a direct walk-in. The interview process was good. The interviewer asked accounts-related questions. Then there was an HR round where I had to introduce myself and talk about my previous company working details.
- Could you tell me about TDS rates?
- What are the GST due dates?
- Can you introduce yourself?
Accounts Payable Specialist
First, there was a normal accounting test with trial balance, journal entries, and basic accounting MCQs. Then, an online assessment followed. After that, an HR round occurred, which was pretty standard. Finally, there were Operations rounds. Since I have experience, they conducted four operations rounds, and it went on until late at night. The interesting part was that all the rounds asked the exact same questions, no variations at all. For example, they asked why they should hire me when they could hire a fresher for less money and train them both similarly. Even though I have experience in accounts payable, they were interviewing me for accounts receivable.
- Tell me about your resume and past experience.
- Can you explain why we should hire you over a fresher who we could pay less and train?
- What is your experience with accounts payable?
