Mailroom Clerk
I had 2 Zoom interviews and then one in-person. The first two were one-on-one, and the in-person one was a panel of 3 employees asking questions. I didn't hear back for two weeks, so I had to ask the recruiter if I got the job.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
Mailroom Clerk
I was referred by an employee. The whole thing took about 3 months. I had two in-person interviews, one with the head of HR and then another with the head of HR and a coordinator. They were pretty chill interviews, they seemed to want me to do well. They asked a lot of general questions, not always relevant to my background, but I did my best. The interviewers were super nice and explained the whole 5-10 year path to becoming an agent, if you even get picked. They really wanted to know if I was willing to put in the effort and if I could handle the tough years of 'paying my dues,' which they mentioned a lot.
- How do you handle people with strong personalities?
- Tell me about some artists you are currently enjoying.
- How do you keep informed about current happenings in the music industry?
Mailroom Clerk
Applied via employee referral. Heard back within an hour of referral. Set up an info interview for a week later. Interview was brief, with a nice and prompt interviewer. He said he'd ask me questions, explain the company and process, then ask more questions. But he mostly just asked who I am, why I want to work there, and what I know about the process. Pretty standard stuff.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your understanding of our process and company?
- Are you fully committed to this role?
