I met with two people, one of whom was HR. Right away, I was informed that not living in London was a deal-breaker, even though I was told during the phone interview that commuting was an option. It would have been helpful if this had been mentioned earlier. Besides that, it was pretty straightforward. I was asked what I know about the job, and the rest of the time was mostly them explaining to me what it entailed. They were quite clear that the job involves long working hours and that they prefer hiring people with less experience in this type of role so they can train them to their standards.

To get this job, you should know the entertainment industry well. You need to be a hard worker and eager to learn. Make sure you research the company before your interview. Show that you're passionate about working in entertainment and want to be an agent. It's a really competitive interview process and environment, so you have to be confident and a go-getter. The interview included HR explaining the job details, and it felt more like a warning about the lifestyle applicants are signing up for if they accept. They're a great agency with lots of fun, interesting people, but the assistant lifestyle isn't for the faint of heart. HR really seemed focused on making sure new hires were up to the task. If you get to HR, you likely have a decent chance at the company, so it's just about not messing it up, following up persistently, and truly wanting the job.
