Outside Sales Representative
The interview process started with a phone interview, which went fine. Then, they sent me an online video interview to complete. I'd never used an interview tool like this before. A question is asked, and you're being recorded. The program records your voice and videotapes you. The questions themselves weren't difficult, it was more about looking at my iPad and seeing myself try to answer. I actually felt like it was a form of discrimination, like they could weed me out by my looks and tell my age. You were supposed to be able to re-record answers, but I wanted to give them my first take. I later got an email saying I didn't move on to the next step. I feel I was very qualified for this job. I had a similar job before and with my skills I could have hit the ground running. Their loss...

Sales Representative
I applied online three times and I was able to get two interviews about six months apart, but never got any response after my interviews. In both interviews I was interviewed by one person. I don't know what to do to get past the interview.
- No difficult or unexpected questions were asked.
Inside Sales
I was contacted by the sales recruiter who told me a bit about the position. After he got to know me, he said he would schedule an interview. My first interview was with the Inside Sales Supervisor. It went well. He told me about himself, and then we went through my resume, and he asked questions. He tried to find connections between my past experience and sales. He then asked a few basic questions. It was a nice conversation. A week later, I was contacted for the second interview with the Sales Manager. She was great and started by telling me about herself and her experience at WM, then wanted to get to know me. It was for her to put a face to the name and understand who I was.
