Got a text from a recruiter to schedule a screening call. All contact was through texts, which was a new experience. After the screening call, there was a follow-up Teams interview with the hiring manager and someone from another department. Even though I wasn't offered the job, both the HR screener and the two people I interviewed with virtually were professional, knew a lot about the roles, and answered my questions thoroughly.

It was a 2 step process. First, a video interview and then an in-person interview. I felt like they just needed an outside candidate, and an internal person would get the job anyway. This happened at two different locations.

A recruiter called me and gave me a rundown of the job, but it felt rushed, like she was reading from a script because it was the end of the day. I didn't get much chance to ask questions. Then, I had a webcam interview scheduled with an Improvement & Analysis Area Manager and a District Manager. The Routing Analyst who was supposed to be there didn't even show up. Also, one of the managers didn't have a webcam, so I couldn't see him. It's pretty wild that in 2018 a company can't get its managers equipped with webcams for video interviews. The interview started with them asking me if I had any questions, which totally threw me off because I thought that's something you ask at the end. It was unprofessional that one interviewer lacked a webcam and another didn't show. After the interview, I followed up with the recruiter, and she said I'd hear back in two business days, but I never did. It's a shame because it's an environmentally conscious company, but their staff needs retraining.
