Account Manager
We had several interviews to make sure you'd be a good fit for both the skills needed and what the clients are looking for. You start with a recruiter call to go over your basic skills and experience. Then, you'll interview with different management levels, HR people, and finally, the local management team. If you make it that far, the last step is a client meet and greet.
- Can you describe your management style?
- What skills do you possess?
- Could you elaborate on your experience?
Account Manager
It was quick and easy, only taking about two weeks to hear back. I had no experience, but I knew someone who worked there, which helped. They mostly tried to sell me on the company, which was fine. They knew I didn't have experience in the field but said it's a good place to learn. They do take advantage of young people out of college with no experience, giving them a lot of work for little pay.
- Barely asked me any questions about myself as they seemed desperate to hire.
Account Manager
The interview process was really drawn out, taking over three months. There were long waits, like weeks, between interviews. I never knew if I'd make it to the next round. They kept saying they were waiting for client contact to be finalized.
- Can you describe your experience in managing client accounts?
- How do you approach building and maintaining relationships with senior management?
- What are your thoughts on how senior managers sometimes focus on their own achievements rather than the candidate or job requirements?
