Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wish.
Project Analyst
Recruiter was really slow in responding. During the interview, one of the interviewers didn't show up. This created an awkward situation, and they didn't seem to know how to proceed. One person asked all the questions while the other appeared disinterested. I felt it wasn't a good fit due to the awkwardness and apparent lack of enthusiasm. I decided to end the interview early.
- Why did you choose Wish?
Analyst
The interview process was pretty standard. It started with an HR phone interview, followed by a hiring manager phone interview where they asked about my past experience and what skills they need. Then there was an onsite interview that focused on a case study and SQL.
- Could you answer a SQL question about extracting data from two tables?
Analyst
There were three interview rounds in total: first a phone screening, then a call with someone on the team, and finally an onsite with the hiring managers. Even though the title is analyst, they didn't ask any SQL questions.
