The director was 45 minutes late and in a hurry, barely asking any questions to the candidates. It was an initial dynamic. They just wanted us to know the entire job description and the complete history of Wise Up, and didn't ask any questions or explain anything until they started dismissing the candidates.

After sending my CV, I had to record a 1-minute video on WhatsApp introducing myself. I was selected for the hiring process, which was conducted via Zoom with over 100 candidates, led by the regional director and a manager. They emphasized that the role is 100% commission-based and that our performance would determine their evaluation. There were two mandatory days of meetings from 11 am to 1 pm. The selection process began on Thursday and concluded on Wednesday morning. I attended all days, even though it wasn't mandatory, including sales technique classes, which I believe made a difference. I almost didn't get the opportunity due to many rejections, but I managed to make two sales on the final day of the selection process and secured the position!

It was a totally time-consuming, deceptive interview. The manager created a false sense of opportunity for candidates, making them believe they would be hired, when in reality it was a new form of exploitation. The 'tests' lasted about 3 days, with the manager asking various questions. Day one involved personal introductions and studying videos about Wise Up. Day two required reading a sales interview manual and providing numerous phone contacts for friends potentially interested in English courses. Day three consisted of a role-playing exercise where candidates had to sell courses to each other, followed by a test based on the sales manual. Afterward, they wanted to conduct a telephone sales test without offering employment, essentially making people work for free. This is a new way to exploit people who think they are in a serious job interview, with a very low salary.
