The whole thing took about a month and a half. I went in twice to check on my application, and both times the manager told me he would call me. The third time I went in, we scheduled an interview for about a week later. I did the interview and got an offer, which I accepted. After that, I had to do a drug test, background check, and submit new employee paperwork. This part took about two weeks. I started working right after.

I learned about the role from a former colleague who recently started there. The company was new to the area. My interview process involved an initial meeting with an area manager, completing an online job application, and then undergoing a drug test and background check. Following that, I had a second interview with a different manager. I was informed that my role would involve working alone at a kiosk during my shifts, as there are no dedicated kiosk managers in the MA/RI stores. The dress code requires black Polo shirts, black slacks, and black shoes, which I would need to provide myself without reimbursement. I wasn't aware at the time that the training would consist only of watching online videos, and that there would be no formal support for kiosk operations, requiring me to contact other kiosks via call and text for information.

I first interviewed with the store's kiosk manager, then I was passed to another store's KM. After that, the DM called me briefly. Normally, as a manager, I'd do the first interviews, sometimes another KM would do a second interview, and then it would go to the district manager for approval. I was sometimes used for final decisions because the DM trusted my interview skills and judgment. I mostly looked for people who were passionate, reliable, friendly, outgoing, and professional. Finding these candidates was tough due to the entry-level pay, which often led qualified people to look elsewhere.
