The hiring manager met with me in the Costco food court to review my resume. Since I was still a high school senior, he looked at my grades and liked how I expressed myself. He asked about my availability and when I could start. It was very straightforward. Also, they don't do THC drug tests anymore, which is good because most people working at Costco smoke.

I had an interview soon after black friday with the store manager. It wasn't until January when the district manager called to see why I was still in the process, that I was sent for a drug screen and background check. He asked if I was still interested in the job after this wait and we continued from there.

It was a simple and straightforward process. They didn't ask random questions. We sat down and they asked me questions directly related to the job. The interviewers were nice and respectful. They also told me about all the opportunities the company has to offer.
