I thought the interview process was a great experience with really smart people. They asked some interesting questions. There were 3 separate individual interviews, each with one of the interviewers. All the interviews were very direct, and I spoke with 4 people in total. I never felt stressed, but I did need to know a lot about wine. I'd say it was a really good interview experience.

There were three interviews in total. The first was a good chat with the recruiter. Then, they showed me around the store and I watched a merchandiser work, making it seem like I already had the job. I got to the final interview, and a few days later, they called to say they chose someone else who was on leave. My advice to this company: don't lie or lead candidates on; just be upfront if the job isn't a guarantee or might just be a temporary fill-in.

I had a recruiter call to screen me, then a 1-hour video call with 2 hiring managers, and finally a 1-hour in-person interview. The interviews were pretty straightforward, focusing on my past experience, some behavioral questions, and details about the role and company. I felt there wasn't much clarity on the company culture, the exact expectations for the role, or the onboarding process, which felt like potential red flags. They did extend an offer, but I declined. During negotiation, they were unwilling to budge on anything, which indicated a rigid organization out of touch with the market, another major red flag.

We first did a phone screening with the Hiring Manager. Then, there was an in-person interview with the Hiring Manager, followed by an interview/walkthrough with the Regional Sales Manager and an interview with the Sales Director. After I got offered the position, I came back for the on-boarding process and then started training in the field with the DM.
