Getting a response from the team can take a while, which made scheduling and getting info difficult. For a starting salary of 60k, the expectations are pretty high. The last stage is a take-home assignment where you have to create and present a pitch deck to a specific persona, and you need to have the knowledge of a sales engineer. They have their own methods, but they expect you to know their formats. They claim technical knowledge isn't required, but they're definitely looking for sales experience and technical know-how.

Instead of the hiring manager, I met with a team member. Since it's a rapidly growing startup, they were quite busy, so I had to reschedule the interview a few times. They shared their background and told me about the company's culture, then asked me some standard interview questions.

The first part of the interview process was pretty good. They gave me a take-home challenge that was fun, and then I had a technical phone screen. But the on-site interview was a disaster. When I got there, the team didn't even know I was supposed to interview, and it took them a while to figure out what to do with me. During the interview rounds, they really dug into my past experience, constantly asking why I left my previous companies. Even when I answered, they just kept repeating the same question. It felt like they were deliberately trying to make me fail. They asked me 3-4 times why I didn't get the projects I wanted and focused on what I did wrong rather than the projects themselves. It seemed like their main goal was to get rid of me. After the interview, they never told me the results, completely ghosting me. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get an offer. The whole atmosphere felt stiff and not very welcoming.
