I sat in the middle of the mall with 3 other girls. The supervisor asked standard interview questions and then asked us to tell her what we think is currently in fashion. Then we went into the store and she gave us each a scenario of a customer (like shopping for a cruise) and had us pick an afternoon and an evening outfit we would suggest to the fake customer and present them to her. It was a pretty quick interview overall.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was pretty straightforward and not at all intimidating. You can usually tell pretty quickly if you're gonna get the job or not. Just gotta be confident. The manager or District Manager will usually sit you down somewhere in the mall and ask you some general questions about how you could make the company better and if you have a driver's license. Other than that, you should be fine.

I had a group interview with two other people. The manager was really nice and clearly explained what she was looking for. She told us about the store and then asked us questions about our experience, how we'd handle certain situations, and what we expected from her. It was pretty straightforward. Then, we did a role-play where I had to help a 'customer' find an outfit for a first date. I chose an outfit and explained my reasoning. She called me within two hours to offer me the job. I went in for a background check that same day, and then three days later, she called about filling out paperwork.

  • What action would you take if you witnessed a customer stealing?
  • What are your expectations of your store manager?
  • Under what circumstances is it acceptable to ignore a policy?
