The interview at Windsor Communities was professional and well-organized. The person interviewing me was nice, knew their stuff, and helped me feel relaxed. They asked questions mostly about customer service, working with others, and how I'd handle situations that might come up in a community. They explained the job, the company vibe, and what they expect, and I got to ask questions at the end. Overall, it was a simple and good interview.

Behavioral Technical Other

The interview process felt disorganized and lacked transparency. There were 4 separate interviews: a phone screening, one with a Divisional Manager for 25 minutes, one with a VP for 20 minutes, and finally a psychiatrist for 40 minutes. In addition, 6 assessments were completed, totaling 4 hours. Each interview slot was booked for an hour, and they appeared to use the assessments and the psychiatrist to compensate for poor interviewing. After the fourth interview, I was contacted for unnecessary "follow up questions" that could have been addressed earlier. My frustration was evident. I never heard back, and frankly, I'm okay with that. They need to improve how they value candidates' time. In this industry, scheduling 4 interviews during normal work hours is tough. Please have the decency to communicate decisions via call or email afterward. Your candidate today is still a customer and will share their experiences with others.

First call with the Recruiter, then immediately set up with the Divisional Manager. The next week, I had online assessments and a phone interview with a Psychologist (they send you an assessment of yourself, which was a bit scary but really cool). The week after that, I had a final interview with the VP and SVP. They gave me an offer two days later. It was a really thorough process, and the assessments showed they genuinely care about who they hire.

I attended an open hiring event for Resident Services Manager roles in Denver. First, I spoke with a Regional Manager. Then, I had virtual interviews with several Community Managers for openings at their communities. This whole process spanned about a month. After my final interviews, I was told I'd hear back within two weeks. I reached out to the HR rep who set everything up, as they were my only contact, but never got a response. I followed up weekly for another month. While I understand not getting the job, the lack of communication and then receiving a generic rejection email felt unprofessional.
