So, I was headhunted via LinkedIn. The first interview was a phone call where they went over the role details and asked about my background, salary needs, etc. Next up is an online video interview, where they'll ask more detailed questions, including some competency-based ones, and dive deeper into my experience and skills. The last step is checking references.

I applied for a role and got an invite from a recruiter to chat. When I hopped on, there was another decision maker there, which I initially thought was a plus. But it turned into an interrogation. They kept fixating on how my previous RPO worked differently. I did send a follow-up question about the role to the recruiter, and she said she'd get back to me. Then... nothing. It's wild how much negativity there is about recruiters, and then they go and ghost another recruiter. If they ghost internal candidates, I wonder how they treat client candidates?

The interview process had 3 steps: a phone interview, a face-to-face meeting, and another phone call. I had to follow up multiple times with the recruiter for each stage, which was unprofessional. I was told when I'd hear back about a decision, but weeks passed with no response. After I texted the recruiter, they asked 'who I was?' and then went silent for days. Based on my experience and other comments, it seems this company doesn't value potential employees. I'd suggest being more proactive in recruiting to build a stronger pipeline and get more offers accepted.
