Behavioral Coding Technical Group

This interview process was really intense, to sum it up in one word. I started with a phone interview that was mostly behavioral and HR questions. Then, I had a coding challenge where I did pair programming with a software engineer, which was a first for me. After that, there was a long, 4.5-hour virtual interview that felt really intensive. I talked to several people and worked on a pre-assigned coding project, with them watching me code and implement ideas. Even though it was a long day, they made it not too stressful. Everyone I spoke with was super friendly and encouraging, which made a big difference. Initially, I wasn't that invested after the first call, but their significant effort to see if I was a good fit, along with the genuine friendliness, made me really want the job by the time I reached the third interview.

Technical Coding Behavioral

I applied for a Senior role but was told I was down-leveled to Platform (mid-level) after a recruiter call for reasons unknown. There was a technical phone screen which was pretty easy with two coding questions. They said things 'looked good.' Then I got rejected with feedback that my answers were technically correct, but they didn't like my responses to critique and feedback, which I found really weird as I'd never heard that before. They didn't give me examples of what I did wrong.
