I did some prep for the interview, reading the job description and researching the company. Then I got a phone call. The person I spoke with was hard to understand, and it felt like she didn't get my answers either. She asked the same question three times! None of the questions were about art, but she was really focused on PowerPoint, asking me repeatedly how I use it, even though I've been using it for over 10 years. The questions were super vague and sometimes didn't even seem related to the job. It also seemed like the interviewer was distracted with something else. I was really looking forward to this, so I was pretty disappointed with how it all went down.

Scheduling the interview was really easy. The interviewer was great – super nice, professional, and gave good compliments. They asked some really good questions that made sense for the role. I got some really good feedback. I'm hoping to get a second interview.

Had an initial first interview, then was invited for a second interview where I was given a design task to present. The interview was with the Creative Director and Studio Manager. I was also shown around the studio, which was in-house and where I would be sitting with clients.
