Behavioral Technical

The interviewers seemed unprepared and hadn't reviewed my resume, mistakenly thinking I had prior nursing experience despite me being a new grad. They asked difficult scenario questions relevant to the unit, which was challenging as a new grad with no prior experience in that specific area. The interviewers made condescending remarks, had a dismissive tone, and repeatedly asked the same questions (2-3 times) because they weren't satisfied with my examples. One interviewer was distracted by their phone during my answers. It was an unpleasant experience with rude and unprofessional management. I haven't received an offer yet, but I would decline if one were extended due to the poor team dynamic and environment. This reflects badly on the unit and the hospital as a whole. I'd advise others against working here.

It was a 24 minute interview. The conversation was quite simple and interesting. It was a friendly conversation, especially related to my previous experience. I haven't heard back, and it's been three weeks. I applied for an Ngg position in med/surg. I sent follow-up emails but got no reply.

I went through a panel interview that lasted about 30 minutes. It included the clinical educator and the manager. They asked me a bunch of scenario-based questions, and also went over my resume. The questions mostly focused on things like the hypoglycaemia protocol, handling conflicts, and how to manage interactions with families.

  • What is your approach to managing a hypoglycaemia protocol?
  • How would you address a conflict situation?
