First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at William Hill.
Customer Assistant
The process was really easy and super fast. They asked me about my past experiences and my knowledge of the company. They also gave me some details about the job duties.
- What value would you add to this position?
Customer Assistant
I applied online and the whole thing took about 2 weeks. I got an email offering a telephone interview the next day. It was more about eligibility than anything else and then I was put forward for a face to face interview in another town. When I got there I was offered a drink and was seen within 10 mins of being in the shop. It was basic competency questions and describing the job role to me and looking at my CV. She then said I would hear the next day if I had the job. I was successful :)
- Can you share an instance where you assisted a colleague?
- Tell me about a time you helped a colleague.
- Describe a situation where you helped a coworker.
Customer Assistant
The process was pretty chill and not too stressful, though it did drag on a bit. First, there was an online questionnaire, then a phone interview, and finally, an in-person interview.
- Can you tell me what you know about William Hill?
