First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wieden+Kennedy.
Production Resident
The process was pretty straightforward. I got a call from a recruiter, and we had a 30-minute chat. It was super chill and easy to talk to them. He did point out how to pronounce 'Wieden' though, which is something to keep in mind.
- Can you tell me about the projects you're currently working on?
IT Manager
Had 9 interviews spread out over three months. Ended up getting declined at the very last step. Turns out, they needed someone with a specific regional language skill that they didn't mention at the beginning. Total waste of my time.
- Can you describe your approach to troubleshooting a technical outage, including how you manage customer expectations during such events?
Film Resident
The process was easy and straightforward. If they are interested in you, they will reach out and are very quick to let you know if you've been selected for an interview and then afterwards if you got the job or not.
- Why are you interested in working here?
Office Services
It was pretty simple. First a zoom call, then a couple of in person interviews. It took a while from when I applied to when they called me back for an interview. The in person interviews were held at their office in downtown Portland. The vibe was relaxed.
